les Goudes Marseille

Motherhood photographer marseille Tuba Club

Like a dream in the middle of winter. Direction Marseille and les Goudes. To the Tuba Club. For a shot of iodine, 70’s atmosphere, mistral wind and a round belly. For an unusual pregnancy photo shoot.
M. and P. invited me to come and spend a day with them, so that together we could create timeless pregnancy photos in this Mediterranean setting. It was their last trip before slowing down to welcome their twin daughters a few weeks later.

The Tuba Club: a unique hotel for pregnancy photographs in Marseille

It was my first time in this little corner of paradise. After having photographed expectant parents at the Hotel Amour in Nice and Paris. I couldn’t wait to discover this other popular venue!
Inspired by the work of Le Corbusier, the hotel’s cabins and suites are elegant and sunny. The direct view of the sea and the sunset is breathtaking. It makes you want to stay for life. I meet up with the couple in their room. We wanted to take some pictures outside, but the December mistral wind got the better of us. We’ll be staying in the hotel, but we’ll be able to take advantage of the villas’ lounge. It’s like being at home!

Soft winter light for an inspiring photo shoot

The marvellous M., who is also a clothing designer, had a hankering for sunny, lively photos in keeping with this carefully chosen location. So we took advantage of all the nooks and crannies offered by the Tuba to invent together images of her, of the two of them! We were able to take advantage of the wonderful winter light and the sunset from the other side of the bay windows. Intimate images, images of love, images to treasure for a lifetime.
In fact, I’ve reworked the report so that it captures the atmosphere so typical of the 70s that runs throughout the place.
I’ll leave you with a selection of photos from this crazy interlude with these two.

M + P, you know everything. It was magical.
To my future parents, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me travel to such different places throughout the year.
