A unique venue for a Provencal wedding: Les Domaines de Patras
E. and T.’s wedding took place in the magical setting of les Domaines de Patras, a venue designed by the incredible Kety and her son Enzo. Built in 1735 in the purest Provençal tradition, the Domaine de Patras has been carefully renovated to offer a unique experience for the bride and groom and their guests. The rich history and traditional architecture make this estate a place where every guest feels at home, right in the heart of Provence. I fell in love with the place and the warm welcome from Ketty and Enzo! As someone who doesn’t like to return to the same place twice, I could go back every year. Les Domaine de Patras is a delight for wedding photographers.
Refined decor evocative of Provence and La Dolce Vita
E. and T. live in Switzerland and love Provence and its art of living. Their entire wedding was designed around Provence and an evocative colour theme: sage green, beige and white. The decor, orchestrated by Caravane Palace, was full of details reminiscent of the region, which is dear to E’s heart but little known to many of the guests. Each decorative element added a personal and authentic touch to the weekend’s events, from the welcome dinner the night before to the wedding ceremony and festivities that followed. The choice of the Domaine de Patras, with its natural beauty and diversity of spaces (lakeside, courtyard, period barn, swimming pool), created a unique and varied atmosphere for every moment of the celebration. It was in this well thought-out setting that the bride and groom said “I do”. Emotions guaranteed.
A perfect team of service providers for this dream wedding
I was lucky enough to be part of a golden team to accompany the two lovers. From the caterer Maison Nans (with whom I work regularly) to the refined floral arrangements by Cyril Wamin (aka Le Fleuriste), the lively concert by Hey Jee and the elaborate decor by Caravane Palace, this was a wedding imagined and built down to the last detail. The bride took great pleasure in selecting the suppliers of her dreams and orchestrating everything herself.
