Based in Nice, I follow you anywhere in France and abroad, in the city or surrounded by nature, into your wildest adventures to tell your story in images.
Photography is above all a powerful way to preserve and pass on memories. I love being both a witness and a creator of your memories. I love imagining you looking at these images again and again with your loved ones, reliving those joyful moments fully.

One of the happiest and most meaningful moments in a couple’s life. Once this beautiful day has passed, memories will remain of course, but what could be more precious than having your story told in images through a professional eye.
A story to pass on and to revisit throughout your life together.

When it comes to wedding photographers, you will be spoiled for choice.
Style, sensitivity, price. These are some of the criteria you will consider when choosing your photographer. But in the end, it is also about a feeling. A real connection.

I like to describe my approach in a few words.
I work with a photojournalistic and artistic vision, and I put my whole heart into creating a story that reflects your day, its highlights, its energy, its details and all those little moments you may not even notice at the time but will rediscover later with surprise and joy.

MY APPROACH

Most of the time, I let things unfold rather than staging them. That is how, in my opinion, you create images that truly last a lifetime.

My images are luminous and warm. They tell the emotions that run through you throughout the day.
I am drawn to what is not immediately visible. A glance, a quiet emotion, a silence.
Those small, almost invisible moments that actually say so much. Poetry is always present in my framing and compositions.

My work is deeply inspired by film photography, with grain, soft backgrounds and colors that stay true to reality.
I can also photograph part of your wedding on film. And I always add a touch of humor to help even the shyest ones feel at ease.

My work is rooted in a natural and sincere approach, with very little staging.
I favor observation and storytelling to create images that remain true to what you experience. I pay as much attention to the highlights as to the silences, the details and the subtle gestures, building a sensitive and timeless narrative. I dedicate my work exclusively to intimate weddings with fewer than 120 guests.Each collection can of course be adjusted to match your wishes.

Whether it is the evening before, as your guests arrive, or the day after for a relaxed brunch, I document these quieter, meaningful moments that are part of the full experience.

Second Photographer

I usually work alone, but for larger weddings or specific expectations, a second photographer can bring a complementary perspective and additional coverage.
Presence during the key moments of the day

FILM PHOTOGRAPHY

For a more tactile and timeless layer to your memories, I offer a film option, bringing a unique, organic and slightly nostalgic feel to your wedding story.

Three rolls of 36 exposures are shot throughout the day

You will receive a minimum of 60 images, scanned in high resolution

All films are developed and scanned by a trusted European professional lab

Additional rolls can be added at 180 euros per roll

HOW TO BOOK ?

01.

First contact


After your first message, we meet on a video call. It is always a nice first moment to connect, to hear about your story, your plans, and everything you are imagining for your day.
I take the time to answer all your questions and to walk you through the way I work.
After our call, I let you come back to me if you feel that I am the right person to accompany you.
I then send you a quote and a contract.
Once everything is signed and the 30 percent deposit is received, your date is officially secured. From there, we stay in touch over the months as your plans unfold.

02.

Getting to know you

Building a real connection with you means everything to me. It allows me to photograph you with honesty and sensitivity. You will receive a questionnaire where you can share your story, your vision of your wedding, and the people who matter most to you. It helps me imagine a reportage that truly reflects who you are.

We stay connected throughout the months via Instagram, WhatsApp, email or messages.
We also plan a few calls to gently shape your timeline and the moments dedicated to photography.

The wedding day

On your wedding day, my approach remains deeply documentary. I am there to observe, to feel, and to tell what is truly happening, without interrupting the flow of your day.

There are a few moments I softly guide :

  • During preparations, I often take a little time to create a few editorial portraits. It is an emotional and intimate moment, perfect for slightly more composed images while staying true to what you are living.
  • Group photos are kept simple and natural. I focus on meaningful images with your loved ones, without multiplying combinations, so you can quickly return to your day.
  • We also plan a couple session, usually at the end of the day, about one hour before sunset.
    It is a quiet pause, just the two of you. I guide you very little, so you can simply be together.

04.

Delivery

After your wedding, I carefully begin working on your images, with the same attention and intention I had while photographing your day.

  • Within around 10 days, you will receive a first preview of about 30 images, a glimpse into your story and its most meaningful moments.
  • Between 6 and 10 weeks later, your full gallery will be ready.
    You will discover a curated selection of images, thoughtfully edited and sequenced as a visual story, almost like a film. Your gallery will remain online for one year, giving you time to revisit, share and relive everything.
  • At the end of the year, in December, you will also receive a small package with printed photographs.

Images to hold, to keep, and to return to, again and again, throughout your life.

Julie is my real first name, yes. And let’s say Etta is my “stage name”. I also borrowed my partner’s name for my author work, under Julie Valentin. You can learn more about me here.

I have been based in Nice since 2019, after spending most of my life in Paris. For weddings, I mainly work across Provence, the French Riviera, Paris, Berlin and Italy. From September 2026, and for one year, I will be living in Berlin and traveling from there.

I usually travel by car or by plane. Travel costs may include:

  • mileage from Nice or Berlin, or flights depending on the location
  • one or two nights of accommodation close to the venue or airport, depending on the location and the end time of the wedding, as well as meals

In most cases, travel fees range between 50 and 800 euros.

I completely understand, there is such a wide choice when it comes to wedding photographers. I would always recommend choosing someone who truly masters their craft, from technical skills to handling difficult and changing light conditions, and understanding the rhythm of a wedding day. But beyond that, what really matters is that you love the photographer’s work and that you feel comfortable with them. Someone you connect with, who feels like you, and with whom you can share a genuine bond on such an important day.

On my side, I now choose to photograph only around ten weddings per year.
I want to truly support my couples over the months, to be fully present on the wedding day, and I cannot do that well if I take on more. I work very much based on a mutual connection.
The best way to know if we are the right fit is simply to meet, either over a drink or on a video call.

In that case, I would recommend Collection II, from preparations to cocktail hour. This is usually when the sun starts to set, guests move to dinner, and there are fewer moments and softer light to capture. With these 8 hours of coverage, I can already tell a beautiful and complete part of your day.

In most cases, 13 hours is enough to cover all the key moments of your wedding. I usually arrive during preparations and leave during the dance party.

However, you can absolutely add extra hours if needed, at a rate of 370 euros per hour.

The online gallery I deliver is connected to an Italian fine art print lab offering high-quality prints and framing options.

I also have partnerships with the brands Innocence and Rosemood, which offer you a 20% discount.

I do not directly offer printed products or albums myself.
