Hôtel Particulier Montmartre is one of the most unique places to get married in Paris. Tucked away from the bustle of the city, right in the heart of Montmartre, this intimate and elegant hotel offers an inspiring setting for a wedding in Paris. I have photographed several weddings here, at different times of the year, and each one has had its own distinctive atmosphere. The secluded garden, beautiful interiors and intimate spaces create an incredibly personal setting for a wedding celebration.

Montmartre, a neighbourhood I know intimately

Montmartre is not simply a backdrop for me. It is a neighbourhood I know almost by heart. I lived here, spent countless hours walking its streets, and discovering its quieter corners.

This personal connection to Montmartre naturally influences the way I photograph weddings here. For couples who want to step outside the hotel for a while, I can take you through some of the more discreet streets and hidden corners of the neighbourhood, away from the crowds.

These short walks with the couple often become some of my favourite moments to photograph. Nothing complicated: just the two of you walking through Montmartre, taking a breath between celebrations, surrounded by the everyday life of Paris.

These simple moments often result in some of the most striking images of the day – spontaneous, intimate and deeply rooted in the atmosphere of the city.

A documentary approach to wedding photography

As a wedding photographer in Paris, my approach is primarily documentary. I am interested in photographing what is actually happening: the glances, gestures, silences, laughter, embraces and unexpected moments that make a wedding day unique. Rather than directing every moment or creating a series of perfectly posed photographs, I prefer to observe and let things unfold naturally. My role is to be present, attentive and discreet, so that I can preserve the atmosphere and emotions of the day as authentically as possible.
